WORKSHOP INFO
THE ONE NATIONALS WORKSHOP
Expand your artistry. Explore new styles. Elevate your journey.
The workshop experience at THE ONE Nationals is expansive, immersive, and transformative — designed to give dancers the freedom to move across genres while also diving deep into specialized training. It’s more than just classes. It’s a journey of growth, creativity, and technical development.
K.O.R. & FOCUS CLASSES
THE ONE Nationals journey is built on two essential pillars: K.O.R. and FOCUS classes. Together, they redefine the dance convention workshop — merging foundation and exploration into one cohesive experience. Every dancer moves through both, creating a journey that is layered, intentional, and unforgettable.
K.O.R. Classes:
The principal foundations of KĀOS, OVATION, and RADIX, K.O.R. provides core training in movement, technique, and commercial genres that form the backbone of a dancer’s versatility.
K.O.R. is designed to:
- Establish a shared technical foundation across all dancers
- Strengthen discipline, musicality, and performance readiness
- Build versatility across styles that dancers can carry with them throughout their dance journey
FOCUS Classes:
FOCUS Classes allow dancers to explore, refine, and personalize their path. During the FOCUS portion of the workshop day, dancers may rotate between rooms to access the classes and THE ONE Nationals artists best suited to their chosen path.
Example: A Junior dancer who loves ballroom might design their selections like this:
Day 1 & 2 – Selects ballroom options for both FOCUS classes each day, exploring four Latin dances such as Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, and Jive across two days.
Day 3 – FOCUS classes in Hip Hop and Contemporary to expand versatility
Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior dancers all have this same opportunity — to focus on what they love, explore new dances, and challenge themselves.
FOCUS is designed to:
- Deepen training in specific dances/styles and areas of interest
- Encourage versatility by exploring new genres and movement styles
- Empower dancers to shape a journey around their strengths and curiosity
K.O.R. and FOCUS classes are equally vital. Together, they create the full THE ONE Nationals experience — balancing foundation and exploration to elevate every dancer’s growth and versatility.
